Since his childhood, Gerard Majella was surrounded by miracles. He was well known as a reader of souls and healer of the sick. In 1749, Gerard entered the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and became a lay brother. More miracles followed Gerard; food pantries were miraculously restocked and needy organizations found helpful money. Gerard’s legacy is best remembered through the mothers and infants who found health and happiness through his intercession.
