This Blue Holy Face Crystal Chaplet features six dark blue crystal beads for each of the five wounds of Jesus, with a centerpiece and matching crucifix made of silver. It also includes a pamphlet with illustrations on how to pray the Holy Face Chaplet. This devotional chaplet was inspired by the devotion of Sr. Mary of St. Peter, a Holy Carmelite Nun from Tours, France, and the first 30 beads represent the 30 years of Jesus' hidden life. Each decade is divided into 5 sets of 6 beads, representing the 5 senses of TOUCH, HEARING, SIGHT, SMELL, and TASTE, as a way to honor and make reparations for the suffering and disrespect that Jesus endured through each sense during His passion. The embossed centerpiece depicts an image of Jesus similar to the Shroud of Turin, with Latin words around the edge that read "Lord, shine the light of His countenance upon us."
